Select Tournament Teams

All TRFC programs are designed to supplement our players' local club/league and travel-team experience. We give them skills, experience, knowledge, and confidence to improve their performance and experience with their club team. Our season runs from January to July and includes weekly training and at least four tournament opportunities. We keep our rosters small to maximize individual attention during training, and playing time during tournaments.

While winning is always part of the goal, our primary focus is on teaching players age-appropriate, individual soccer skills, while providing the soft skills and experiences that help them develop into better tacticians, decision-makers, and teammates. We value challenge and improvement over easy accomplishment. We take our teams to tournaments that will test their progress, not assure them of a trophy. 

2025 TRFC Select Team Players Will Receive

• Weekly trainings from January to July
  • Ten, one-hour, indoor training sessions | Gold's Gym, Poughkeepsie, January - March
  • 15-20, 90-minute, outdoor training sessions | Poughkeepsie Day School  Poughkeepsie, April - July
• A personalized training jersey
• Home and away uniforms
• At least two indoor tournaments (usually one-day)
• At least two outdoor tournaments (usually two-day)
• Potential for more tournaments, for an additional fee, depending on the team's interest.
